HC rejects petition on fake non-creamy layer  certificate                  The Aurangabad bench of Bombay high court recently rejected a petition filed by a father-son duo against police action against them for allegedly obtaining a fake non-creamy layer certificate. Following a complaint lodged by computer consultant Manish Bhat, the police registered two different offences against Rajeev Bhanudas Chaudhari, his son Swaraj and principal of JT Mahajan Polytechnic (Faijpur) Pradip Patil under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. Rajeev was accused of creating a false record of non-creamy layer and using that certificate, Swaraj got admission into first year diploma in civil engineering course in the reserved category.Following Bhat’s complaint, direction was given by the government to inquire into the matter. In 1989, Patel lost the Bharuch seat to BJP’s Chandu Deshmukh by 1.15 lakh votes. Ever since, no Muslim has made it to the Lok Sabha from Gujarat. Muslims make up 9.5% of the state’s population. In 1962, when the newly-formed Gujarat voted in its first Lok Sabha elections, only one Muslim candidate won, Johara Chavda, from Banaskantha. In 1977, the state elected two Muslims, both from the Congress Ahmed Patel from Bharuch and Ehsan Jafri from Ahmedabad the greatest representation Muslims have seen from Gujarat ever. United Suspends Delhi-Newark Direct For  Two  Weeks                         United has cancelled its Newark (EWR)-Delhi nonstop for next two weeks from Friday. The airline sent messages to customers about the cancellation, which has been caused due to closure of Pakistan airspace that is forcing aircraft to take a much longer route since end of February. In a statement on its website, United said: “Due to seasonal winds and the continued closure of Pakistani airspace, we’re currently unable to operate our flights between New York/Newark (EWR) and New Delhi (DEL) while meeting crew flying time requirements. The explosive mission is the riskiest yet attempted by the japanese space agency's hayabusa2 probe that aims to reveal more about the origins of life on earth. Hayabusa2 successfully released as scheduled the so-called "small carry-on impactor"- a cone-shaped device capped with a copper bottom- as the probe hovered just 500 metres (1,650 feet) above the asteroid ryugu.
