                                                    BADMINTON Badminton :-   is a racquet sport played using  racquets  to hit a  shuttlecock  across a  net . Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a yard or on a beach; formal games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the opposing side's half of the court.Each side may only strike the shuttlecock once before it passes over the net. Play ends once the shuttlecock has struck the floor or if a fault has been called by the umpire, service judge, or (in their absence) the opposing side.                                                               GST Goods and Services Tax (GST) :-   is an  indirect tax  which was introduced in India on 1 July 2017 and was applicable throughout India which replaced multiple cascading taxes levied by the  central  and  state  governments. It was introduced as  The Constitution (One Hundred and First Amendment) Act 2017 , following the passage of Constitution 122nd Amendment Bill. The GST is governed by a GST Council and its Chairman is the  Finance Minister of India . Under GST, goods and services are taxed at the following rates, 0%, 5%, 12% ,18% and 28%. There is a special rate of 0.25% on rough precious and semi-precious stones and 3% on gold.  In addition a  cess  of 15% or other rates on top of 28% GST applies on few items like aerated drinks, luxury cars and tobacco products. GST was initially proposed to replace a slew of indirect taxes with a unified tax and was therefore set to dramatically reshape the country's 2 tril

                                             INDIAN LANGUAGES                       LANGUAGES OF INDIA :-   Languages spoken in  India  belong to several  language families , the major ones being the  Indo-Aryan languages  spoken by 75% of Indians and the  Dravidian languages  spoken by 20% of Indians. Other languages belong to the  Austroasiatic ,  Sino-Tibetan ,  Tai-Kadai , and a few other minor language families and  isolates . India (780) has the world's second highest number of languages, after  Papua New Guinea  (839).                     Article 343 of the Indian constitution states that the  official language  of the Union government shall become  Hindi  in  Devanagari script instead of the extant  English , but is superseded by English subsequently too as mentioned in section 3 of the same constitutional article that is put to effect by  The Official Languages Act, 1963 .                                     MADIA GOND COMMUNITY                    Madia Gonds :-   Madia  are one of the  endogamous  Gond tribes living in  Chandrapur District  and  Gadchiroli District  of  Maharashtra  State, and  Bastar division  of  Chhattisgad  State  India . They have been granted the status of a  Primitive tribal group  by the Government of India under its  affirmative action  or  reservation  programme. The Madia Gonds are strongly affected by  Naxal activities. The Madia Gond use the self designation Madia, and call the area where they live Madia  Desh . They speak the Madia dialect of  Gondi . The shifting agriculture of madia is known as jhoom.                                     PARIS ENVIRONMENT SUMMIT   Paris Environment :- Paris climate accord or Paris climate agreement, is an agreement within the  United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change  (UNFCCC) dealing with  greenhouse gas emissions mitigation ,  adaptation and finance starting in the year 2020. The language of the agreement was negotiated by representatives of 196 parties at the  21st Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC  in  Paris  and adopted by consensus on 12 December 2015. As of August 2017, 195 UNFCCC members have signed the agreement, 160 of which have ratified it.                      SAHITYA AKADEMI     Sahitya Akademi :-   India 's National Academy of Letters, is an organisation dedicated to the promotion of  literature  in the  languages of India . Founded on 12 March 1954, it is supported by, though independent of, the Indian government and situated at Rabindra Bhavan near  Mandi House  in  Delhi . The Sahitya Akademi organises national and regional workshops and seminars; provides research and travel grants to authors; publishes books and journals, including the Encyclopaedia of Indian Literature; and presents the annual  Sahitya Akademi Award  of Rs. 100,000 (approx. USD 1,500 ( as in year 2013) in each of the 24 languages it supports, as well as the  Sahitya Akademi Fellowship  for lifetime achievement.                                                             BULL Bull :- is a harvest sport race that take place in the village of  Anandapally , southern  Kerala  during the post harvest season. A pair of yoked  bulls  are sent charging down a football field-sized  paddy field  soaked in ankle deep water, while their handlers boarded on a wooden plank, hang onto the tail or onto a harness and slide through the mud. The fields are freshly ploughed as the bulls are raced by their handlers.                 Bull surfing competitions are common in Kerala where local clubs or landlords offer trophies and cash prizes for races with different categories for speed and style. A pair of  oxen  is usually managed by a participating unit formed by a handler (the surfing member) and a team of people to assist him.                                                        TRIPLE TALAQ   Triple Talaq  also known as talaq-e-biddat, instant divorce and talaq-e-mughallazah irrevocable divorce, is a form of  Islamic divorce  which has been used by  Muslims in India . It allows any Muslim man to legally divorce his wife by stating the word talaq the Arabic word for "divorce" three times in oral, written, or more recently electronic form. The use and status of triple talaq in India has been a subject of controversy and debate. Those questioning the practice have raised issues of justice, gender equality, human rights and secularism.
